Best/Favourite Pony Finds?

As the title said, I'm curious as to some of your best or favourite pony finds! Did you find something you were really hunting for in a charity shop? Or did someone by chance gift you a pony you didn't already have? I want to hear about it!

I think mine probably was the Thundercloud I got for £10 close to a decade ago now. There was also the Sweet Notes that a friend gifted me - they were clearing out their house and stumbled upon a bunch of G1s, and in return for me helping them ID and price them, they gifted me the only one I didn't have! She still had gorgeous crimped hair as well <3

I got G2 Hip Holly from an auction on eBay and she was only $13.
Someone RAOPK'd me Dutch Diary
I found a lovely Truly in a bait lot. After I cleaned her up she was bright white and has the softest most plush flocking. She also has some original curl left.
The best one though, is finding my childhood ponies They were in a storage bin I couldn't get to for years. I wasn't sure what bin they were in.

I’ve found a few great finds at a flea market.

I was looking for rosedust and morning glory online and the guy who is always there who sells toys had them. I’m there so often now we’ve become friends and he gives me deals on ponies because I buy so much.

He’s sold me a few sparkle baby ponies, a couple summer wing ponies, and numerous G3’s.

But I guess the best find I ever had was a Facebook market place find for $10 CDN. It wa about 20 ponies plus accessories and clothing. It was a mix of G3 and G1. There was a summer wing pony, a FF Cotton Candy, majesty, a few year two rainbow ponies and lickety split and Posey plus multiple G3’s. Most were in good shape and cleaned up well, but a few rough and just baits, but that’s probably the best find I’ve ever had.

I think it was the BBE Baby Lofty I got with another order. I didn't have her at the time so she was a welcome addition to the collection, & she was in lovely condition, good eyes, hair AND body!!! Now a happy part of my Pegasus shelves with her mother

A Mimic I got in a lot with a few other ponies for $15 on facebook market place

She isn't perfect, has pink highlighter spots, otherwise, I love her

I remember I wasn’t in a good mood so I went on buyee just to find a Takara pony and I was happy to see that I did! I asked my uncle for help since he’s good with bidding even though no one else bid on it, I was still worried that I won’t get it and he was worried if the site was legit (which it is) and after worrying he said the package arrived, my dad picked it up and I recorded myself opening the package! I was so happy as she’s my number one dream pony! I’m extremely happy to have Milky!

When I was first getting back into collecting as an adult I found several G1s in good condition at a small local thrift shop, including Raincurl.  Nothing too crazy, but I was excited to find them

I found Crystalline and Sweet Blossom for only $5 at a flea market. And one of the vendors I give my duplicates to looks out for me when he buys his toys to stock and gave me almost the whole Slumber Party set of ponies (just missing Pink Dreams). And I found several neat pony displays online!

got a basically mint diamond dreams in a bait lot along with 2 windy wings that were mint and still had their wings undamaged

I think the best find was from my aunt. She told me she found a bunch of ponies at a flea market, and wanted me to look at them. I was amazed when she finally brought them along. It included NSS Buttons and Euro baby Buttons, Scandi Truly, a summer wing, Shady, Posey and a bunch of other common g1’s. But most special of all was perhaps Alt Birtflower Poppy

I haven’t made any major pony scoops, but I did find the orange princess dragon (forgot his name) and a puffy sticker with the newborn twins. I think they only made one. Dimples and something?

I think mine was the Build a Bear Celestia plush I found at Good Will some years back^^
