G1 Royal Cape

So I have the Royal Cape. There was already some fading damage to it (a big bleached spot) so I decided to go ahead and wash it. It faded a bit more. Because of the previous damage I am not too worried about saving the color. I never liked the hot pink color.
I was thinking about going ahead and Sun fading it to see if I can get it white (or very near). Worse case, It doesn’t work. The fur is in good condition and the cape looks easy to make.
Has anyone done this? Any Suggestions.

I haven't done it but I say go ahead, it might make a nice change. I prefer my Wind Whistler with fully white rather than faded hair.

I have had one that was really faded, so much so I actually thought it was pale pink/white. The red stitching and red hidden in the seams told me it was faded.

It does look pretty in pastel/faded colours though
