This week I interviewed Leave a Whisper!
Personal Interview-Where did you get your user name? I took the name from a line I read in a story.
What are your hobbies? Some of my hobbies include reading, writing, playing games.
Do you have any pets? I have 2 dogs.
What do you like/dislike about yourself? I like that I'm generous, I dislike that I always have to have the last word.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? I'm happy in my home state. But I would like to visit Greece and the UK someday.
Do you collect anything other than ponies? Yes, I collect toy horses, rocks/crystals, weaponry, and some action figures.
Ponies-How long have you been collecting ponies? I had ponies ever since I was a little girl in the 80s. Started collecting again when G3 came out.
Why did you start collecting ponies? I'm horse crazy and I like cute colorful things.
Who is your favorite pony and why? Fizzy is my absolute favorite. I loved her in the cartoon, I was thrilled when my best friend gave me her ponies and Fizzy was included, she's beautiful and nostalgic and she's a twinkle eye
Who is your least favorite pony and why? Probably Pinkie Pie, regardless of iteration. I'm not a big fan of all pink, and her personality and ear-splitting voice grates on my nerves quickly.
Who is your favorite Nirvana pony? My favorite Nirvana is Brazil? Bowtie. I think it's Brazil anyway. The green one with the multi-color mane.
Who is your favorite fakie? My favorite current fakie is the zuru sparkle girls yellow/blue unicorn. I like that color combo and the hair is so thick and lovely. Pretty good for $2.99.
Who was your first pony? Windy the rainbow pony is the one I have the earliest childhood memories of.
What pony did you get recently? Hitch Trailblazer was a gift from a very sweet friend.
What is your favorite generation? Generation 1 is my favorite. Gen 3 is close behind.
What is your favorite part about collecting? I'm not sure what my favorite part is.
How big is your collection? My collection is over 100 ponies and counting.
What do your friends and family think about your collection? Most of my family doesn't really pay any mind. A few have bought some for me.
Do you still play with your ponies? I don't play the way I used to. Taking fun pictures and making photo comics is the way I play now. I still brush and wash my ponies.
What rare or popular pony makes you ask why!? A rare pony that makes me ask why? Rapunzel, because holy moly she gets more expensive every year it seems! Her color combo isn't my cup of tea.
If you had to have a pony symbol tattooed on your butt, which would you pick and why? 
I would not have a pony symbol tattooed on my butt.
If you could have any pony remade in a different generation, who would you choose and why? I would love to see Lyra Heartstrings or Sea Swirl as Gen 3 ponies. Or Thunder Flap as a modified Big Brother.
What has been the worst part about collecting? Aside from the rising prices of "naive opportunists" who have dollar signs and no common cents to price check, probably cleaning up mold/rust. I have a sensitive nose so it makes me gag.
What is your ultimate collecting goal? I don't think I have one?
What is your biggest collecting accomplishment? Just getting the ponies I want and can afford. I've still a ways to go.
What is your biggest collecting regret? I temporarily passed up a StarGlow for $20 on ebay. I will forever kick myself for it.
Who is your grail pony and why? I was very fortunate to find MO Starhopper and SS Twilight for very cheap. My boyfriend surprised me with Port-o-bella for Christmas one year. I think Twist, Baby Rainribbon, and unicorn Cheerilee are the last grails on my list.
Do you prefer loose or MIP ponies? I love loose ponies. I like to brush and hold them.
Do you collect Nirvanas? No I don't collect Nirvanas. All the ones I like are out of my price range.
Quick! Close your eyes and grab a pony! Who did you get? I closed my eyes and grabbed Lofty.
Are you a customizer? I'm an amateur customizer. I can paint the body, and sometimes dye the hair. I'm too chicken to try giving them a new mane and I would only pay someone to rehair the mane if I wanted colors added, or if the mand was chopped off. I'm no good at drawing.
What do you think of custom ponies? I love seeing people's customs.
What are acceptable and unacceptable pony flaws, in your opinion? Unacceptable pony flaws would be G3 hair rot, Divine Shine goop/glitter cannibalism, really bad hair cuts, big chunks of missing plastic.
Would you rather have a bait pony or a fakie? It depends on the quality of the bait, and how much I like the fakie.
Do you watch pony shows/movies? Yeah, I still find MLP n Friends and some Tales episodes pretty enjoyable. I've seen a few G3 and G4 episodes, they were okay.
Do you read pony comics? Sort of. Whenever people post the old 1-3 comic scans I'll read them. Not much of a comic person so I wouldn't buy them for myself.
What is the worst thing you've ever done to a pony? The worst thing I've ever done to a pony? Probably lost a few during a move.
