Is it Baby Liquorice or Licorice? Anyone have her MOC?

I'm confused about baby Liquorice/Licorice's name!
I can't remember seeing her MOC so I'm wondering what her name really is!?
Liquorice is the British spelling and Licorice is the US one so I'm guessing it would be the first one

Its a qu. We have the cards from childhood. As you said Liquorice is the correct UK spelling. The c comes from Americanisation of the name (sort of like if we were to call Colorswirl ponies Colourswirl. Except we don't, generally, because their actual name is the US spelling).

I have to admit the misspelling of her name is one of my UK pony twitches. Its LiQUOrice, its always been LiQUOrice and anyone saying otherwise is misinformed.

(So next time you see someone spell it with a c, its time for the tomatoes or custard pies).

Edit to add - 1994 (last year) ponies do not have names or name labels on the fronts of their cards. They are named entirely from the image label/story on the back.

Simple answer to that is that by the end of the line Hasbro were too lazy even to put name labels on. THe year before, several ponies had rainbow stickers on the card with their name on instead of it being printed on. I think the 7 Characters may be the only exception. I guess even printing the stickers became too much hassle. It's annoying though, because it means though we have all three cards, my sister and I, working out which went to which pony is harder...
