Honestly I think the only animation style that made the ponies look like actual horses is the rescue at midnight castle. The g1 mlp and friends had some very very questionable animation where the ponies legs or faces or bodies were very odd. It's still my favorite generation, but I'd love to see a reboot with the original rescue at midnight castle used as models.

This art work is super cute though! Spike looks like a clown though haha but I love that the artist used cotton candy!

I'm not really digging the stills, but maybe I would have enjoyed the animation more. Too bad it didn't happen.

Eh the artwork isn't for me but that just means more for those that enjoy them
