G1 Gingerbread needs whitening...

My G1 Gingerbread needs some whitening love. I had considered sun-fading, as I will be doing that with my Apple Family and Lily flutter pony. However, upon searching the arena, TP, and internet I discovered the general consensus is NOT to sunfade her. So. What should I do to whiten her?  Im a tad scared to try a hydrogen peroxide bath because Im not able to pull her tail and/or mane....and oxy baths are now considered bad as they may cause problems in the future.

Help please?

I don't think you can really whiten Gingerbread...

I used Retr0Bright Gel http://www.retr0bright.com/use.html on one side of mine as a test and got some results after 4-5 hours. It was originally developed to de-yellow ABS plastic in computer cases and stuff like that. I've seen it used on computer cases, transformer toys, and even someone's storm trooper helmet. I made a gel and painted it on her body while avoiding the eyes and hair. It didn't hurt the symbol paint at all. So far I can't see any weirdness or damage to her. (I would not let it touch twinkle eyes or glittery symbols, I doubt it would hurt hair but to be safe I'd avoid that as well.)

It depends on how brave you are

If she does not have any age marks...you may manage to sun fade her. The horrible tan comes about due to the age marks. Likewise there is the possibility that you could tan her and then push her all the way back to white again. But all of that is done with the risk that you may end up with St Tropez Gingerbread.

You can use things like acne cream but that can cause white ponies to yellow.

All in...as mentioned it really is one of those you need to weigh up whether you want to risk either option or if you are happy enough with her as she is.
