Hello from a Newbie Long Time Pony Lover

Hello Everypony! I have been signed up since last year but this is my first post to y'all. Just about a year ago I started collecting & selling ponies again. My boyfriend lit the torch when he bought me 2 dozen ponies for an anniversary present. He found them at a yard sale along with some Strawberry Shortcake dolls. He didnt realize the dolls came wirh pets and when i asked him about the little plastic pet that goes with each doll, he realized he HAD to go back to that yard sale and snag those pets! By "he realized" i mean I MADE HIM. LOL. Most men would probably hate their house being taken over by rainbow colored ponies, but my BF loves it! Little did he realize what a monster he created. MUST.HAVE.ALL.G1.PONIES.EVER.MADE.EVER.Im curious how everypony elses SO feel about the pony collecting. Also, ANY display ideas are greatly appreciated. I displayed my Strawberry Shortcakes with food-related ponies and Strawberry Shortcake herself is riding Sugarberry front and center. Cant wait to hear from everypony that KNOWS what the power of obsessing over ponies is feels like... Amd how Amazing it feels to FINALLY find that pony you had always eanted when u were a kid!

Lunawolf I would LOVE to see your collection but I can't find the post you are referring to... Such a newb on here! I am always looking to add to the collection, and the BF is cool with it as long as I use "pony money" which is money I make from selling my extras and restores.

Now that's a good anniversary present! I know that feeling, after I got my first pony I knew I had to have more. 250+ later and I am still not satisfied! Have fun expanding your collection and enjoy the forums!

Also, I've changed my pony room at least half a dozen times so I always say, go with how you feel at the time because the more you amass, the more your display will change

You are not alone in wanting Every G1 Ever....from your post I think you of course mean Every Accessory Also??  Lots of members also love Strawberry Shortcake too!

I don't need every pony ever made, just every pony I see....including duplicates and four-plicates.  My room mate can't stand it!  Too bad, awww.

Make sure you check out the For Sale forum for new ponies, and we are all wanting to see pics of your collection!  If you wish to share them with us post pics in the Brag forum so we can go on about how we love your ponies...and see lots of ours there too!

There are lots of other forums too!  Feel free to read, reply, and post new threads.
