Some questions about cleaning ponies..
« on: May 21, 2016, 11:51:40 AM »
So I have mostly been a g3 and a g4 collector, but a friend gave me a few g1s several years back, and I wasn't able to really bond with them then. So they have been in storage, and I took them out, and decided I really want to try and fix them up, and make touch up some symbols, as they won't ever be leaving my collection.

Now, none of these ponies are in bad condition they just have been loved, so they look a little grimy, and I tried to wash them, with soap and water, and some it really helped with, but some not so much others. Is there anyway I can brighten and clean up their complexion?

Also they have very, very flouncy manes, their manes form a large curl and stand up. xD Any tips to fix this aswell?

And I do have a g3 question,I have a few ponies with wacky tinsel, how can I calm them?

P.S. Sorry in advance if this is the wrong forum.

When in doubt, I go to
www.mlppreservationproject.com

Far Dreamer's site is terrific and lotsa people have contributed excellent step-by-step tutorials on there.

That website that was posted is a good site, but one warning if you have any princess ponies don't oxi clean them it takes the paint off the jewels which is its cutie mark and with tinsel ponies if you ever plan on straightening their hair make sure you put liquid fabric softer in its hair with conditioner first then wrap a dryer sheet over the hair and then straighten, but use the lowest temperature it will prevent the tinsel from going crazy or being ruined I learned the straightening method from other websites and videos.
