Flutter Wing Review
« on: May 04, 2016, 06:41:45 PM »
Hello all!
As you all can see I am going crazy over flutter ponies as of late. I have gotten Pink Dreams Beacuse i love her kitty cat symbol. And she reminds me of my kitty cat I lost right before Christmas. So anyway..
I Bought some reproduction wings from
Starlightstudio and I am amazed that they look so close to the real thing you can't even tell other than they are a tad bit lighter in color.

I think if I couldn't buy flutter wings, I probley wouldn't bother to own flutter ponies at all.

Flutters just look so broken with out wings.

And if anything elce for thoese who only collect
Original everything, they make grate place holders
Consittering how expensive the real wings go for..

Last I saw original wings just by them selves they where
Like $50..

Ohhhh, they are gorgeous!  Thanks for the review, I need some of these for my wingless flutters.  They just look so much better with wings.  And I prefer repros over real wings in case the cats break them, LOL.

(Is it just me or do Starlight Studio's pictures show all the wings "upside down", with the concave side on top?  It's an easy mistake to make.  :P )

I may be alone in my opinion but I actually wasn't happy with the wings from Starlight studios. When mine arrived they had sticky residue all over them, and they had cloudy patches, like the mold wasn't clean when they made them :( I ended up returning them and bought some from that great german seller on ebay and was much more satisfied :)

Starlight studios did let me return them though :)

Is the German eBay seller (Primavera) the same person as Nora?  I bought some of "Nora's flutter wings" waaay back and they were great.  They had white tabs on them, IIRC.

Yes! She was so sweet and they arrived packaged with pony stickers and look legit like the real deal! Almost all my flutters have them now :)

I remember this order. I'm not sure what happened, we haven't had that issue  before or scene then, so I'm thinking it was a small isolated incident.

But I'm glad you got some from Nora :)

Actually, I've had nothing but top quality products from Starlite studios, and I know I've bought wings from you in the past too (as well as Berrykin babies- I hope you guys make more!!)

I bought Primavera flutter wings for all 15 of my flutters and I couldn't be more pleased with them! They are gorgeous AND sturdy.

I still have to get around to purchasing some of these for my wingless flutters, I have SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many that I've picked up in the last few years (like 10 I think.) i'm glad they have the reproduction ones because, as mentioned they just don't look right without them! I still love 'em though, they're among my favorites, I'm glad have at least a few with their original wings.

Flutter wings are supposed to be concave side up. Think if you were trying to catch the air, having the curved side down isn't going to work very well. :P  Plus my MIB one has the curved side up.

She looks lovely! Pink Dreams is my favourite flutter too, and mine also needs wings. I really need to add that to my to-do list.
