Love Nightglider's new look! And the Lickery Splits with poofy hair seems to go perfectly with their theme!

What is roving? x

It's the wool/fleece you use for felting or needle felting :)

Oh, thanks! It looks so soft, I normally use mohair and wool but the mohair is so hard to use so this might work better for me, thanks sweetie xxx

It is very soft and fluffy ^.^ it is similar to mohair, but as its been carded (I think that's the term) all the fibres are lying in the same direction which does make it easier to use.

I love mohair, I've not rehaired a pony with it though only dolls.

I've done a few in mohair with the hair I washed and dyed originally to use for MH dolls. They come out pretty neat and the waves in the hair are fun. I'm allergic to mohair though and cannot keep any fo rmyself and have just made them for other people.

These are really cute pink, especially the pom hair.
