Help with a super long hairs ponies hair!

So I have a super long hair G3 petal blossom, and I have tried everything to fix her hair! I boiled it, I conditioned it, everything like that, and although it can be brushed through now it's still horribly poofy and and crunchy at the end! What can I do? I really don't wanna cut it but is that my only option? Please help!

Don't know if you have tried an iron yet just be sure it's set low!

I also wanted to recommend a flat iron, that is my greatest help in taming combable, but still poofy hair. I hope you'll be able to fix her ^^

I second the idea with the flat iron, and if still nothing helps, it should help to curl her with boil perm. That's how I saved my G1 NSS Shady and two Candy Cane ponies who looked really bad.
