Craigslist is policed by the users...there is a button to "flag" listings for reasons like fraud, inappropriate, etc and it doesn't matter whether the flags are legit or not, when there are so many the posting is removed.

In this case, by this morning when I had a look for the listing it had already been flagged and removed.

I only had a copy to post here because any time I like a listing or something on a listing, I take a screen shot....so in conclusion, the self-policing method did its work and far fewer people had to experience the loss of their cute miniature pony that never existed than would have if the listing had been up all day.

Also the prank victim's phone probably stopped ringing a lot sooner too.  As far as punishment for the offending sister, I just hope the victim gets her back next year Good for me.

I was just happy that after 25 calls the victim was still answering the phone so I knew what had happened.  It was most courteous of her...I guess eventually I would probably have figured it out but would have assumed that I was the prank victim instead of an innocent bystander...

*shakes head*  She could have gotten into some serious trouble if the right people saw that.  It can turn into a 180 almost instantly.

I would have given my sister a piece of my mind if she did that to me...then again, its not my sister I have to worry about regarding pranks.

I was most impressed that the victim sister was still taking calls from us other victims and explaining what happened.

I can just imagine what some of those calls might have been like.  I was all disappointed "so the pony isn't real?"

(isn't this just the most adorable little sad pony EVER we have here?  I finally found somewhere to use it!)

If I was the animal's owner, I  would be seriously concerned with the possibility of theft from my property at this point.

It happens A LOT here.  Someone lists on Kijiji some building materials, people go on out there and case the place, and then we hear that said Kijiji user has had their truck stolen or some such.  :(

Hopefully the prankster supplied a fake location as well as a fake pony picture.  The pony isn't real.

Oooh look it works again

Yes it is, but full size like it really is you need a place to keep it so the miniature is such a tantalizing fantasy...

Of course now I wonder who is the real life-size pony?  Where?  that sort of thing.  I need an autograph.

I just googled mini horse daffodil and found this: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1269632/At-Im-tallest-bunch-Britains-answer-U-S-miniature-horse-Einstein.html

Excellent research banditpony :fireworks: My pony is real! and his name is Oberon!

:hope:   :good:

I love being wrong!  Yaaaayyyyyy!!!!!!     :frolic:     I'm so happy,   Thank you so much!

I was so sure it was photoshop, guess it's just digital photography in bright light....(I was right he's a stallion though)

Even with a pony they really shouldn't live in the house. Small or not horses need space and a field so in a way try not to feel so bad. It wouldn't have made a good house pet honestly.

True...but that just means I get to use this again   Isn't she the cutest ever?

 But our teensy stallion is a national treasure of the UK so he gets to :frolic: and :socks: in the :sunny:

I'm just so happy today!  I had a great time messaging with my new friend here about our :gift:

and my little pony is real too!!!        :accomplished:

and I'm not even broke yet; I want to buy something for your big little pony too, even though my doggies don't need anything.  I'll pm you now.
