some glow in the dark ponies!
« on: April 15, 2016, 05:10:33 AM »
decided to do a couple of simple customs / re roots the other night.

a G2 key ring and a  FIM  version of the G2 pony  Moon Shadow   only with a bit of a twist.
I decided to use some of the glow in the dark hair  for their white streaks.

I used metallic blue paint over pinkie pies normal blue there to give it a little more sparkle.

metallic paint touch ups to the key ring ponies eyes as well ad the addition of some ruby red gems.

the GID used for these 2  is the GID available from Dolly Hair ,  it has a very flossy texture compared to the normal nylon and its much finer fibers.  but it glows very strongly

these both turned out nicely I think.

They look great, I always adore GID hair and/or details!

I was tossing up weather to give them glow in the dark on their cutie marks as well but the   GID varnish I have has a nasty habit of  running .

glow in the dark stuff is my favorite but its very hard to decide what to use it on most of the time .
