BRAZIL PEACHY:  $30  Excellent condition, really just some fairly light playwear overall (for a nirvana pony).  The only mark is a pink dot on her chest.  Hair is great with just a little dryness on the ends, with just the start of light Brazil frizz.  Some missing plugs at base of mane.  Tail used to be braided and is still wavy.  Tail is uneven on the ends, but that appears to be just the way it was inserted at the factory.  Symbols are excellent, very light wear, no rubs.  Eyes look great.  Never had blush.  Neck is not sealed (normal for Brazilians).  No stains under feet.  No odors.  No tail rust.  Does not rattle.

BRAZIL BLUEBELLE:  $22  Very good condition.  There aren’t any marks, but there’s an overall faded and slightly blotchy appearance.  She was wearing shoes for who knows how long, so her feet are unfaded, and there’s a noticeable difference.  Her hair is smooth, but trimmed a little.  Her forelock looks OK.  Her mane looks a bit shortened.  Her tail is braided and trimmed a little, though still falls past her feet.  Symbols and eyes look great.  Never had blush.  No empty plugs.  Neck is not sealed (normal for Brazilians).  No stains under feet.  No odors.  No tail rust.  Does not rattle.

FRENCH APPLEJACK:  $50  Excellent condition.  Really her only flaw is a very faint bluish mark on her back; I didn’t notice it for a long time.  It may be from wearing one of those light blue saddles from one of the Show Stable variations.  Other than that there’s not much to report.  One of her apples (DS) is a little blurry.  She’s got one empty plug on her forehead (probably never filled from the factory, and so common with French ponies that I don’t really consider it a flaw).  No other marks.  Hair uncut and very smooth and shiny.  No rubs to eyes, symbols, or freckles.  Neck is sealed.  No stains under feet.  No odors.  No tail rust.  Does not rattle.

MOC UK SPORTSTIME:  $48  I’m not a big MOC collector and not that great at judging them; please see photos.  Bubble is yellowed and pretty badly cracked at front feet and also below mouth (which extends to back of neck).  I don’t really see any dents though.  Card is a little warped.  Three corners are bent/curled.  There’s a little fold near the image of Sportstime.  Looks clean with light wear to graphics.  Definitely flawed but still an MOC UK pony.

YEAR 3 SEA PONY SEA BREEZE #1:  $60  Excellent condition.  Hair is great, smooth and uncut.  Very soft and shiny, no empty plugs.  No pen marks or anything, but does have spots of brown discoloration so typical of sea ponies.  They’re mostly concentrated on her right NDS neck near the seam, above and a bit below it.  There are a few other spots scattered around the rest of her body, but they’re pretty faint.  Really, as far as those brown discolorations go, she’s in much better shape than most yr 3 sea ponies.  Fin paint has some wear; dorsal fin looks quite good, but side fins are more worn.  Eyes look good.  Left DS blush has small rub; moderate rub to NDS blush.  No yucky black mold on her hair roots.  Neck is factory sealed, never opened.  Still has weight in her tail.  No odors.  HOLD

YEAR 3 SEA PONY SEA BREEZE #2:  $50  Excellent condition.  She’d be better than Sea Breeze #1 except that her hair is dry.  It could probably be fixed with flatironing, but I’m too chicken to try.  No haircuts, no empty plugs.  No pen marks except for a tiny dot near her DS tail.   –Oh wait, there’s a little purplish mark between her NDS fins.  She has a few small age spots/brown discolorations on her NDS, two above the neck seam, one on dorsal fin.  Really nothing else, so even fewer discolorations than #1, just overall blotchiness from bathtub play.  Her fin paint is better and brighter than #1.  Some small rubs to dorsal fin paint, more wear to side fin paint.  Eyes are good.  Blush is faded.  Neck joint is loose, but I haven’t opened her.  Still has weight in her tail.  No odors.  SOLD

MOLLY & BABY SUNDANCE:  $22  Excellent/VG condition.  Molly has her dress, rainbow tights, and shoes.  I’m sure that those are NOT her original hair ribbons.  Shoes and tights are in great condition.  The dress had a little brown stain on the edge, but it came out.  Velcro closure in back is great.  Half of the ribbon tie in back is gone.  It was caught in the velcro and frayed all to bits.  It was a tangled mess, completely unsalvageable, so I just pulled it out of the velcro and cut it off.  Molly’s face paint looks great.  Her hair is nice, soft and uncut.  It’s close to its original hairstyle, but a little messy.  Baby Sundance has soft uncut hair with just a hint of its original curl left.  No missing plugs.  There’s a small purple dot below her NDS symbol.  She has a little bit of eye rust, worse on the NDS eye.  She has her bridle, and it would be in great condition except that the reins have been cut.  Velcro closures are fine.  White daisy detail is fine.  SOLD

MEXICAN PRINCE RUBY:  $65  His worst flaw would be the rubs to his left eye; the right one has very slight wear.  Otherwise great; no stains!  Tiny nick behind right front leg.  Tiny pin pricks in ears; not sure if they’re from bubbles in mold, or owner’s attempt to make earrings.  The ends of his mane are a bit dry, but not bad; uncut with no empty plugs.  Tail smooth and uncut.  Small rubs to top points of metallic symbols.  SOLD

MEXICAN BABY SURPRISE:  $20  Hair is dry and might be somewhat faded; not sure.  I don’t think it’s been cut, but I have another with a longer mane.  I think the factory was just inconsistent with mane lengths, but I can’t be sure; it’s still long.  Three or four empty plugs at base of mane.  Pink spot on chest/top of right foreleg, and another tiny pink speck on front of left foreleg, and another on left hind heel.  Some dirt on left wing.  Very small and faint green dot above right eye, another near right hock.  Symbols good, though pink string has bled (pink string bled on the one in my collection too).  Rub on right eye; left good.

MEXICAN RATTLES & TATTLES:  I have a bunch of these and kept my best ones, and they’re still far from NM!  These guys are really prone to discolorations, eye rubs, and symbol wear.  And that’s if they escape the usual stains and haircuts!

MEXICAN RATTLES & TATTLES #1:  $40 for both.  No large stains, but not bright white and have some small marks.  Note the orange dot on the back of the hock for the baby shown on the left.  Her right ear also looks dark, like it has a faint stain; I checked inside for rust that could show through, but she looks fine.  The baby on the right has some ground-in dirt on her face.  Collectors used to call this pindot and feared that it would spread, but it has since been shown to be ground-in dirt, and not “contagious.”  Some wear to symbols and eyes, but no bad rubs.  Hair is good and uncut, no missing plugs, pretty smooth and shiny.

MEXICAN RATTLES/TATTLES SINGLE TWIN (not sure which):  $7  She has more wear than the others.  Off-white, some faint pink stains on her right side.  Pink spots on left cheek, gray spot on left shoulder, small brown dot on nose.  Some rubs to eyes and symbols.  Her mane looks good, with one little empty plug at the base, no big deal.  But although her tail is uncut, it’s quite dry and the wrong color, a faded fluorescent yellow instead of gold.  Opening her up, it’s held together with something plastic and weird; looks like the tail might be a factory rehair, or something.  But I don’t think it’s her original tail.  But that’s why she’s cheap.  SOLD

UK SEA PONY SURF DANCER WITH SHELL:  $33  No stains.  Hair is uncut but dry, one empty plug behind right ear.  Fin paint is pretty good with light wear.  Eyes are good, light fading to lashes.  Neck is sealed, tail weight intact.  No odors (she had a faint musty smell when I got her, but it's gone now).  Her shell is correct and has the sucker at the back (UK suckers are white, not the same color as the shell).  However, the sucker is damaged at the bottom.

BABY SEA PONY TINY BUBBLES WITH FLOAT:  $14  No stains, but there are some discolorations on her right side.  There's a faint brownish splotch between her fins and tail.  And there are two faded areas, almost white, maybe faded from zit cream treatments??  One is on her side/stomach, the other is small and on the spiral of her tail.  Hair is uncut but dry on the ends, no empty plugs.  Fin paint is pretty good, maybe light wear.  Duck float is great with a few small paint rubs (duck's foot).  Some very small marks on the bottom; they may be stray splatters of orange paint from the details.

MOC PARTY CANDLES:  $10 each.  The one on the right has some oil? damage to the card.  The one on the left has a torn hanger and lightly cracked bubble. The tail broke off of one of its candle ponies, even though it's MOC  (the yellow pony with pink hair).  BOTH SOLD

GERMAN STARSHINE (METALLIC SYMBOLS):  $60 each, excellent condition.  The condition is about equal on both of them, so I’m just pricing them the same.  Some background info about German Starshine:  As with other German Rainbow Ponies, there are two different versions of her.  But while Nightlight and Raindrop have big and small symbol versions, Starshine has matte and metallic symbol versions.  The matte symbol version does not seem to be particularly prone to age spots.  However the metallic symbol ones are EXTREMELY prone to age spots.  I’ve been looking for a mint one free of age spots for five years and have still never seen one.  In my quest to find one, I’ve accumulated some extras.  I finally decided on which one I want to keep, so it’s time to send the others to new homes.  None are perfect, including the one I’m keeping, but these are the best I’ve found.  So if you want to wait for a better metallic symbol one, good luck, because if one does get listed, you’re going to have to outbid me for her, ha ha!

GERMAN STARSHINE #1:  If it weren’t for that age spot on her cheek, I’d probably keep this one.  No stains anywhere.  Great uncut hair.  Nice symbols with minor wear if you look very closely.  No scratches to eyes, though upper lashes are a little faded.  Age spots:  DS cheek, tiny dot at base of DS ear, diagonally below DS symbol, DS front hoof edge, NDS back heel, faint one diagonally below NDS symbol, another faint one on NDS hip.  Blush is faded.  No stains under feet.  No tail rust.  No empty plugs.  No odors.  No chew damage.  Neck is sealed.  Does not rattle.
