Anybody else read or knows about this series? I picked it up at a couple days ago on my ex-workplace library and I'm absolutely hooked to its little world ever since. If you have a chance, get your hands on it and give it a read, it's a lovely (if sometimes dark) story.

It's a trilogy about a twins, Perivinka and Vanilia Periwinkle, told by their fairy nanny, Joyfulyoushallbeyoushallwishtotellittome (at least the wikia translates it as such), or Telli in short (Feli in the original and hungarian versions). It takes place in the titular village, Fairy Oak, where Magicians and Non-Magicians live in peace next to each other, and little fairies take care of the children who own magical powers.

It's quite lighthearted, albeit goes into very dark territories from time to time, especially when Perivinka says something without thinking. Suggesting burning down the school to avoid getting an F amongst other things.

It's not the most well-written thing I've read ever (due blatant usage of CAPS LOCK and being rather 'telly'), but it very often goes out of its way to make you feel welcome by being very descriptive about the imagery of the village and/or nature, especially the sounds and smells. You can close your eyes and see the places for yourself in those parts, which is absolutely amazing.

There are also four 'mystery' side-stories which are more lighthearted, but still just as much adorable. I've only read half of the first book 'The secret of the wins' and half of 'Flox Smiles in the Autumn', I'll continue on once I get my hands on them in a store.
