Stopping BBE eye rust

I just received my first 2 BBE babes! Baby Cuddles has some very minor rust just starting to show around the eyes. Is there anything I can do to keep it from progressing?

Don't let them be near any moisture at all.  Carefully, you can brush baking soda on a toothbrush at the rust until it slides away, but don't use any products that will get them wet!
