I'm new!

Hello lovely people!

I'm very excited to be joining the forum! When I was a kid, I used to have probably 100 (at least!) or so ponies as well as several of the fun shops and the beautiful pink castle. However, due to unfortunate circumstances, I do not have any of my original collection. My goal here is to start slow and read about other peoples collections and wonderful stories of their collections. I love MLP mainly for the nostalgia that it brings me 

Also, I am a huge Kenner Littlest Pet Shop collector! I am actively collecting and trading sets for LPS and love hearing about other peoples collections for those as well.

Welcome to the Arena.  Sorry to hear you lost your original collection, but their are loads of collectors who come here that had that happen either though moving, divorce or selling them due to think they outgrew em so you are not alone.

I'm really going to date myself a bit here, but it's been long enough since I had my G1 ponies that I don't know what my favorites were at the time My first pony was a purple, kind of translucent looking one with sparkles (?) and a purple, glittery mane and tail. I want to say she was a pegasus as well. Beautiful pony, I wish I could remember what her design was though. Maybe a shooting star of some kind? Not sure.

The castle is also very memorable, and at the time it seemed to so huge!! I would be really interested in seeing it now, hehe I remember an ice cream shop of sorts, with little yellow tables and chairs, so cute! And I think a hair parlor maybe? Is there a website with links to the old G1 merch? I'm sure if I saw pics I would really remember more of what I had.

I never got into the G2 or G3 ponies, but the G4 ones looked a lot like the G1's if I'm remembering correctly. I have soooo much to learn!!!
