Missing Brazil Minty & Cotton Candy FYI
« on: January 06, 2016, 05:23:27 PM »
Hi All,
I was told I could post this here. I won the Brazil Minty in rare parade outfit and Cotton Candy with rare saddle pad on Ebay end of Oct. 2015. Well they never made it sadly. They went missing somewhere between Valinhos / SP and SAO PAULO / SP around 10/29/15 (Giving the seller the benefit of the doubt). I was concerned on 11/12 when the tracking hadn't changed I was told everything was fine and they were on their way to the US.

End of month still nothing had changed, even had my post office check again behind the scenes. So sent another message with no reply. Finally had to open an Ebay claim on 12/4/15. Seller finally replied on 12/9/15 in all caps that I had been given the tracking and that it was in the US. So I politely pointed out the tracking shows it still in Brazil, and US had no record of it. So they said they opened a postal claim. Sadly nothing was ever found or showed up by 1/2/16 so I closed the claim and got my money back. I am just heart broken they went missing, sad day for the pony community. I wish something had been done sooner to try and find them.

So if they surface again I would be leery of them, I just wanted to warn everyone and let you know what happened to the dear treasures. :(

Minty

Cotton Candy

I have a screen print of the tracking saved and my tracking number. If you would like more information you can message me.

Thank you for sharing this with us Gypsy, what a shame you never got your ponies :( I am pleased you were able to get your money back, but it is still a heartbreak.

I have never bought from that seller, but I have often watched their auctions.

I would suggest, before you give up hope, check the tracking on the Brazilian postal website and/or going into your post office in person.

A few years ago, my post office kept telling me I had no packages, but the seller insisted it was waiting for pick up, and in just a few more days, it would be sent back.  Like you, the tracking only showed it in Brazil, nothing about reaching the US or anything, but I went to the Brazil postal website.

http://www.correios.com.br/english

Sure enough, it was in my post office, as a 'signature required' package, and after a little badgering, they went and looked in another spot, and there it was!  It had been there over two weeks (they write the date packages arrive on the end), and they didn't even apologize! :(

Hi, I have been to my po sadly multiple times ( I am there twice a week or more usually). Mine will check behind the scenes for me and it never even cleared customs. I told the seller if they ever show up I would re gift the monies. I was hoping they were just held up due to high value, but so far nothing. I was only able to track them on the Brazil post, it won't even track on USPS I was so hoping they would show up, but the sellers post office never found out anything, so it really never left Brazil. Maybe she can get them back, but I haven't heard form her since December. I am just heart broken, I have had such a bad year, and so I bought me a pick me up since I hadn't bought anything all year.

I know that seller and I bought a few times from him, there was never a problem, I always got everything he sold to me! I am actually sure that he really sent out the ponies. It wouldn't surprise me if the parcel would show up again at a later Point of time. I keep my fingers crossed for you!

Thank you, Yeah, everything else they sold arrived and they had feedback for it except mine, so I was hoping. I just keep picturing the ponies ripped open some where, and the thief going what is this? I hope they resurface. I wish the seller had taken me seriously and looked into it in Nov. when I expressed concern.
