It's quite common for the date stamp on the pose to be off by a year or more - the date marked reflects the first time that pose was produced, which will often be up to a year ahead of when the finished product finally hits retail shelves. They also don't change the markings when reusing the same mould for additional designs later on - the only thing it really tells you is when the original pose design was created.
