Be aware: eBay glitchiness

I just glanced at eBay's community forums and apparently some auctions are experience the following glitch:

A buyer purchases an item (through BIN I think?) and pays for it, yet the item still shows up as active in eBay's system.

I don't know how widespread this is, but it's something to keep an eye out for, especially if you're a seller.

I wonder if that's happened to me. I bought two items from different sellers on the 10th and neither have shipped yet. I was using my computer, if that info helps anyone else.

Yeah I noticed that too. I even noticed that sometimes it didn't even require me to type out all the info on my card, like it always has. It just immediately said paid.

Okay...it turns out what happened to me was Paypal sent my money as an echeck. I am confused why it did this because I had a balance that I was working with as I shopped on ebay. I checked right before I bought the items. Weird! So I think paypal was glitchy too.
