I don't think I have this but I do have sensory issues. When I get mad I feel like I am breathing lighting, sadness is like a damp cloth in the chest, and so forth.

Well, I might just be going crazy.

Last night I was woken up by the faintest barking of multiple dogs.  Mad yips and constant fast barking.  But I like in an area where that wouldn't be happening for an entire hour at 2:30 in the morning, and if it was any softer, I wouldn't beable to hear it.

This thread makes me wonder if there were actual dogs there, or not.
That may actually have been a version of exploding head syndrome.

I have a variety of forms of synesthesia. I don't necessarily associate colors with senses, but my brain makes a lot of other associations. I can sense a person's mood and associate a smell with it. I have extreme empathy -- I really do feel it when another person is hurt.

a new book i plan on reading next year, features characters that have different kinds of Synesthesia. I'm really curious how the story will play out and what kind of synesthesia the main character will have.

do you have synesthesia? what kind? have you ever heard of it before?
if you don't have it, which do you wish you did?

Yes I do!  I only found out about 3 years ago.  I've always seen letters, numbers and dates as colors.  In my head I see years and months going in a line from left to right, kind of at an angle.  I never thought anything of it until a guy I considered dating at the time said he had it and started describing it and I did some research.  It's associated with high intelligence, which I can say I'm not stupid, lol.
