Late to the Party - who plays FFXIV?

I know there are a couple of folks on here, just curious where everyone is playing. 

I just started a few weeks ago, and I don't play every day, but I'm loving it so far.  I haven't played an MMO since the first Guild Wars, lol.  With that, you could do pretty much the entire thing solo if you wanted to, so this is a whole new experience for me.  And I'm playing on PS4 because my sad little computer won't run it...but OMG the graphics are fantastic on console.

Anyway, I'm on Gilgamesh - Hyur Highlander female - working on leveling my Pugilist now, so I can become a bard.

Oh, I just downloaded it the other day for PS3!  My brother bought it for me as a gift so we could play it together.
I haven't tried it yet, but he says it's one of his favorites.

Nice!  My husband's best friend bought it for me as an early anniversary present, so we could all play together, lol.  I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

I used to play this daily, for like two years. My boyfriend and I ran a Free Company together and at the time he lived 9 hours away. When he moved her, I lost my job and had to give up my sub. That, and I was iLvl 129ish and I was getting so tired of the grinding. My boyfriend still plays it daily - we were on Midgardsormr together.

One day I may return, once I start getting regular paychecks coming in. I was a black mage.

I managed to complete my lvl 30 quest for my archer last night, and run pugilist up to lvl 6...on my way to becoming a bard. 

I'm definitely loving it so far - I know it makes it easier, having people I know on there.  My husband just runs me through low-level dungeons, hahaha.

I haven't yet. Really haven't played many of the newer FFs for that matter...

i played the pc version when it first cmaeout years ago. then when a realm berborn cmae out   i  was  wodneirng      if i should paly it aigna but eh I  ahve aprob lem with games hwer you have to  pay a ton for hte gmae then you have to pay a monthly fee. i guess this is why i dont play Wow.  or any   other gmae liek this i dont have the 40 or  so  money to waste on the  gmae and then be expected to pay  15-20.00 a month for it.

kaoskat - this is the first one I've played since FFX, I think...and I didn't get very far in that one, lol.

Lorelei Redfern - I felt the same way, but then the more I thought about it the less it bothered me.  I mean, I'll toss away $40 for the two of us to go to the movies, which is 2 hours of entertainment...but for $30 we can get an entire month of entertainment.  When I thought of it like that, it was much easier to take the subscription fee, lol.

LOL X is where I fizzled out too! I never finished it.
