HELP! , new laptop Sai settings are all diffrent to the old.

hey guys im having some issues with paint tool sai on this new laptop  (windows 10) the old one was win 7.

sai is doing some wierd things , or rarther its NOT doing some things.

mainly im having an issue with the air brush tool.    its coming out all blocky  where as on the old lap top it was seamless .

ill throw up some images as example.

this picture was done just now , and  ive fiddled with just about every thing under the advanced settings for the air brush tool but i cant seam to fix the issue, 


for comparison below  are images that was done on the old laptop, that heavily used the air brush tool.

now the old laptop is a wright off, it won't even start up so I can't get on and check to see what my previous presets even were. 

at first sai woulden't even load on this new one, its  presently  running  in compatibility mode  under "vista"
im not sure if that might have something to do with it again the old laptop was running windows 7 , and this new one is running windows 10.     

can some one help me with this?
I need the airbrush tool to  color more smoothly ,  but i don't know what settings i need to change to do that.

You might have to redownload the drivers for your tablet. When switching to windows 10 with my SAI that's what I had to do annoyingly enough. Hope this helps.

I had to reinstall the Lot as it's a whole new laptop.
Oddly enough tho when I look at the same images on my phone the issue seams nom existent / the shading looks fine so I don't know if it might just me some thing to do with the screen resolution or brightness on the new laptop. 

I'm the lap top the color looks solid in the middle with several rings going out wards  in different colors . Kind of like contours on a map . With the Verry putter rings giving like a halo effect.    If that's a better way of describing what I'm seeing on the Lappy.

I think it may be an issue with your laptop screen. I can see it in the first pic but not in the finished ones, if that's any help.

yeah thats what im thinking,  im looking at all the images on the laptop now and  that weird halo effect is  showing on the older images as well. so  i guess its something to do with the screen its self then.

any ideas how to fix it? I want to start doing commissions again soon, but not until I can be sure of the quality of the work.
