MLP POP Applejack starter kit alternative packaging / printing error?

I was in my local walmart today getting some groceries, when I noticed they have 2 applejacks next to one another. one was the normal green background and this one I picked up has verrrry dark grey?

the designs on the back are still visable, just a slightly different darker black will have to use my scanner for the back portion later

I would not think it was print error - I would hazard a guess its a style change (the addition of the POP logo in the bottom right hand corner points to that perhaps).

I looked at the bigger packs and it seems those were all normal colored

I agree with Cat, they probably just changed the design between production batches.

Perhaps they have not been changed yet?

Or perhaps it is an error...its all speculation. I think its more likely a deliberate change but I could certainly be incorrect in that assumption.
