I was Looking around ebay and found myself wondering....

if there are really people who would pay 36 dollars for a 3 inch tall toddler princess ariel. when they are something you can find i nthe checkout at wal-mart for 5 dollars (i am not kidding, when you search on ebay the lowest price for one is 7 dollars and the highest price is 36/ for just ariel. to get three pricesses including ariel the price in 97 dollars.)

I'm sure they are holding her at that price until they disappear from Walmart shelves, then $36 will look like a great deal when you can't find one in stores...

Oh, people make up all kinds of crazy prices on Ebay. They may be hoping to find a buyer who hasn't had luck finding this particular doll in any store.

I cashiered at the Dollar Tree for a year. People pull the same trick with coloring books and action figures. A week after we go them in, I saw the boxes of Frozen tissues we got going on ebay for 5 and 6 bucks.

I really can't fathom what some sellers are thinking though. I love vintage Disney dolls, and in my saved searches, you can find the same boxed dolls by the same sellers, sitting at a ridiculously high price for YEARS. They're not getting any business and they still feel compelled to do it.
