Are these G3s Uncommon or Am I Just Having Crappy Luck?

For the past month and a half or so I've been trying to find Starbeam II & Sweetsong III. These are the discount store versions of these two ponies. They are the last two ponies on my current wishlist, and I never see them pop up on Ebay or in the Sales Forum here. Are they uncommon or am I just having bad luck?

I don't know if those ponies are uncommon, I see them in larger lots, but I think they do certainly turn up less than their counterparts. You could try putting a want add in your siggy here on the arena

Yeah, I've only seen them turn up a couple times at most and usually in lots...... It's odd. I see the birthflower G3s more often than I see these two.

The good old, pain in the bottom sought after versus rare situation. There are quite a lot of g3s that really do not pop up too often at all, but they are also not all that sought after by collectors (perhaps they were very common when released, had multiple versions or were just not that unique in design) so it keeps their prices low but makes them hard to find!

These 2 girls are not too bad. I agree they can be on the harder side to track down but they should not be too bad. I guess a little bad timing is perhaps a factor here. Have you perhaps tried an advert inyour signature?

I never managed to get any of the ponies from that set.  Admittedly I never went out of my way to seek them out but there was a time back in my hardcore collecting days when I bought anything and everything I didn't have.  They were always on my long wish list of ponies I didn't have but, while my regular G3 collection is pretty complete otherwise, nobody ever contacted me with those.  So I think they must have been harder to find in general.
