Strange issue with user here

I was contacted by a member here about some items I had for sale.  When I tried to respond, I got a message that my message was blocked by that person.  The signature struck me as rather strange (Christian message, but something about my username being offensive(?)) and when I checked the profile this person had no recent posts (there are 12 feedback but only 2 posts from 2012, which doesn't match the total post count).  Is this some strange glitch, or a hack/prank?  Has this happened to anyone else?

I sent a pm with the username and details, ponylady. 

I think the signature was just one of those coded inserts that pops in the name of the viewer/user, so it would probably identify anyone viewing as having an offensive name, if that makes sense.  It was a little disturbing to be targeted if it was indeed a trolling prank, and I don't know why the sales inquiry went into a lot of detail if that's what it was....
