no paying buyer
« on: April 13, 2015, 02:06:13 AM »
okay so there is a ebay in sweden but it is called tredera.
I hade an lady Lovely locks items out there on action and someone put a bid on it like 15 min Before it ended.
and i have a atomatic mail coming out to the buyer with paying info.
I waited 3 Days and my limit of dats the buyer should pay is 5 Days and i dont want to hunt my buyers all the time i have done that some  times now and i thought now no i will not hunt them and if they dont pay thay get  negative feedback. and i have writhen that in the Winner mail that thay have 5 Days and if thay dont pay thay will get a negative feedback.

Now 1 day ago i Think the buyer contacted me saying i should remove the negative and still sell to her. but i didn´t have the energi for this buyer (in like 30 weeks pregnent and my hormons is like  no good.) and i have talked to the Tradera support and thay sad i should leave the negative feedback.

And i don´t want to sell to her anymore or to someone that dont pay.

Did i do a bad thing?
(i hope i posted on the right thread)

 yes don't worry you posted in the right place.
If a buyer does not pay in the time allowed then it becomes a pain for the seller, and a lot of those buyers end up not paying at all so it is a waste of time as well.  This buyer sounds like she wanted to pay but much later than the time you allowed her and only after you gave her bad feedback for not paying- right? but you state the time you allow. Most of us do that on ebay and if the buyer has not paid within that time then we message the person and open a case if there is still no response/payment.  Nothing wrong with that. I'm not 100% sure how Tradera works but ebay stopped the neg feedback for buyers (which was a mistake in my opinion because how can you tell when a buyer is dodgy if they are only allowed good feedback? sounds like Tradera still lets you leave negative feedback for non paying buyers - which is good.) If Tradera have advised you to leave the negative feedback then you can follow their advice. Don't feel bad about not wanting to sell to that buyer anymore since they did not pay within the stated time and they did not contact you in advance to ask if they could have a bit longer to pay  until they got bad feedback if I'm reading this correctly :awake:

I absolutely think you did the right thing. If she was going on vacation (which to me sounds like a lie), then she should have contacted you in advance and let you know. But as I said, to me it sounds like a lie. From what you've said, it sounds like she changed her mind about the item after she bid. Then, she either wanted to avoid the negative feedback or changed her mind again.

Yeah you are right, I didn't think about it that she lie to me :o
Thanks for your help :)
