Happy Resurrection Day to my fellow followers of Christ!

Somehow, for once in my life, my Easter did not involve attending a sunrise service. But I'm really okay with that (I don't like getting up before the sun gets up! Though there is a church near-ish where I live that I have been wanting to check out). My family came down to my house and we mostly spent the time getting me ready to move. But at least we got together!

As usual, I'm late, but Happy Resurrection Day / Happy Easter, all!

I might be late posting for Easter Sunday, but certainly not late for the 50-day Easter season! I had a lovely Holy Week with my family, singing with my mom at the Holy Thursday and Easter Vigil Masses and Good Friday service. The Triduum is a beautiful time for me to strengthen my faith and ponder the Lord's sacrifice for us. (I also saw The Passion for the first time this year; it was a hard slap in the face as to what Jesus suffered...I'm not ashamed to admit that I bawled my eyes out.)

Happy Easter to you all! He is truly risen--and how wonderful is His gift of life for us. God bless everyone this Easter!

To be serious, I assume you are asking why I am specifically referencing you? A couple years ago I installed a forum toy called [ you ] - sans the spaces. A person can have quite a bit of fun (or mischief ) with that one.

*blinks* yeah, I don't remember that.  And I was wondering why you mentioned me, since I'm not in the least bit religious.  (I was however force fed bible camp when I was 8-10.  They kept putting me in the corner for asking questions)

To say a blessing to someone means basically, "be happy." It sounds religious, but can be interpreted to mean one wishes you happiness. I figured I would "bless" everyone who read this thread whether they were religious or not.

I should see if I can find the very first thread I made using the [ you ] forum toy. Such hilarity. Even my fellow mods didn't know what was going on, since I didn't warn them first.
