Popple-like toys?
« on: March 18, 2015, 04:35:55 PM »
I recall there being a toyline within the last 10 years that was reminiscent of the popples, with a fairly similar design aesthetic, but not under the popple brand. I can't remember what it was, and now its driving me up the wall! :K

Any ideas?

Yes!! Furberries where what I was thinking of! Thank you!
There was also apparently a brief revival of the popple toyline - pop n' giggle popples. I don't think I remember seeing those in stores!

Yes, there have been two re-makes of Popples, actually.

I think I remember seeing something that was similar to Popples -- maybe I had seen Furberries, too?

I'd never heard of Furberries! Looking them up now, they are really cute! I'm a Popple fan, and I love all kinds of transforming plush toys.

I used to have a whole box of baby Furberries (yes, there are babies, too!), but I ended up giving away some because I needed the room.
I kept my favourite, a purple kitty. She still smells really delicious!
