Neo is a cesspool... Subeta already has a leg up on Neo, though. It's actually possiblse to save up for your dream pets and to even customize them with stories and such. Instead of Neo where only the most elite members can have painted pets and they hold it above everyone else's heads like pixel status symbols.  I also wish you luck with any CWs you make. G4 ones are nice but other pony Gens would be awesome!


Anyway, I use the Shoutbox all the time. It's not AS bad as that SubetaSpeaks blog makes it out to be. To be perfectly honest if you're not a drama addict it's SUPER easy to just ignore the SB even if it is open. Or at least it is for me because I don't let myself get sucked into all that nonsense. It's just some stupid argument over some stupid topic because someone has to be rude and vocal because they can. My philosophy: Why bother? I have put my two cents in a couple times but I really don't provoke fights or act like a jerk. (I'm sure you'd see my name all over that tumblr blog if I did) Otherwise I'd rather just spend my time questing and just glance at the fight going down instead of getting involved with it.

Also, there are two nostalgic pets that are tributes . Nostalgic Hikei is G1 Ponyish and the Nostalgic Irion is a Fairy Tails. There are also My Little Hikei items on the site, too. But yeah, not a lot of G1.

Neo got a littttle bit better since they made Krawks and Draiks more accessible but man, for so many years before that they were like 14 million which is so hard to save up for on Neo. Even at like what, 1-2 million it's hard especially with KQ gone. I often made a million a month playing Keyquest all day and selling my paintbrushes and codestones and such but still! It takes some long dedication. And hours and hours of KQ every day to win the 10 games especially with all the annoying rage quitters who quit right when you're going to win, and on top of that it takes a really fast computer to win the games anyway. 14 million was TOUGH.

I got rid of the shoutbox as soon as I signed up because I'm just not one to use them, I barely even use ours and I feel comfortable on this forum. I really like the bigger sense of freedom on this site over Neo. Neo's a little over the top crazy crazy with banning any normal word that has a 'bad word' within it. So many normal words you can't type on that site.

That bird is cute! The others are too far off for my liking. I need to get good at this so I can make some. Thanks for sharing those!

They made Krawks and Draiks more accessable? And I do have to agree. Since Subeta is for a bit older target audience It is a LOT more fun. Especially if you don't have to worry about your account getting frozen for using a word that you thought was completely innocent and was using it in the proper context.

Art is a REAL hot button issue and sensitive topic on subeta. >>; I don't bother to post my art on there. I've seen WAY too many nitpicky folks on there who can't wait to rip holes into other people's art, even if they do admit they aren't good at it. They hide behind a "critique" even though it's blatantly obvious said critique isn't beign done to help the artist, just to tear them down. I commend your bravery.

I used to sell custom lps on there for millions of points xD
I never really had a problem. one person even sent me a whole box full of lps as payment for their custom one!

havent done much art lately though, i think id just say they can shove it if theyre rude xD.

I've sold art on there before... it's always a "pay what you want" type of thing and more often than not I'm lucky to get any takers. Recently I did chibis using a base I made and they were more popular.  It was fun.

Some of the artists on there have extraordinary talent... I've commissioned quite a few over the last couple years to draw one of my cats and it's always neat to see such a huge variety of styles.  People love to attack the staff artists though... especially over anatomy which is something that shouldn't be as big of a deal when the pets in question are fantasy and not supposed to be realistic. *shrug* Then there's the CW market... I've managed to create a couple items but that's about it. People can get crazy when it comes to custom wears.
