Selling on Craigslist - advice needed

I've sold things on Craigslist before, but this current situation is a little odd to me.
I listed my old graphics card on Craigslist and I have a buyer interested. He started off by saying that he works 70 hrs/week and lives out of town (an hour north), so can I ship it to him? He offered to "gift" me on PayPal so I wouldn't pay PayPal fees.
OK, seemed reasonable, so I agreed.
Then he said because he's having to "trust" me in order to gift the money (he does, but he offered), that I should give him my address.
Why? I am shipping the item from work. He doesn't need to know my address. Am I being paranoid or is this kind of weird?
I offered instead to give him the UPS tracking code when I ship the graphics card.

I agree with you.  Don't provide your address.  If he is having trust issues, he can send regular paypal payment.  You could even increase it a few bucks to cover the fees.  No matter what, ship it tracked.

Thanks! He just went ahead and sent payment with $5 more for shipping. The sender is verified. Payment type is instant (not sure if that means anything). It seems like everything is probably legit.

Thankfully he seems legit then but I agree there's no way (if I were you) that I'd be telling someone random my home address. The tracking should be enough proof for him  but if it isn't then he should not send the payment as a gift
