Hello

I would be really keen on selling these 3 ponies I am looking for a little more info and value.

I would also like to know the best way of selling them in MLP arena.

I can provide closer pictures if anyone wants. 2 of them are in near mint condition, one has had her hair cut!!

Wow amazing ponies. I'm sure you'll have no problem finding buyers here! My opinion for ponies like these would be to make a thread in the Nirvana sales with some good pics and take offers. Have a time frame in mind (like a week for example) and have a starting price. People will then send you offers via PM. It's kind of like an auction. But without seller fees

I've put Seashell up for sale first on the nirvana sales page. She's the only one of the three I have close up pics of. When I'm back home in the beginning of January I will put the other two up for sale.

South African ponies were distributed by Prima Toys in the 1980's. In fact MLP is still distributed by them!

It is believed that all of the year two and some of the year three ponies were made and sold.

They are unique in that they have a rooted tail, all other hasbro ponies has a single large tail hole. The ponies also got mixed up heads and bodies, which is why they look a little odd!

They were sold on a standard back card with a general story written in both English and Afrikaans

They are hard to find and get fetch upto $8000 (depending on condition, the pony and the collector)

Edit to add: the ponies you have sell for between $1000-3500 each
