I'm looking for some good, popular forums for people who have similar likes. I'm a gamer, I love anime, toys, cartoons. In a nut shell, nerds.
Any good suggestions?
I'm currently a member at theoldergame.com, but it doesn't seem to get a lot of traffic that I can see.

It's a production team by geeks, for geeks. They do web video on various geeky topics, and they have a huge community following, including forums.

NeoGAF is one of the largest gaming forums on the net.  I've been a member for over 10 years.  Good group of people most the time, and usually gets pretty good insight into the industry.  Off topic forum has active anime and toy (LEGO and Figures) threads, as well as threads for all manner of TV shows.  There is even a fairly active MLP thread.

Be advised that the registration system is such that the admins have to approve your account, and they usually do it en-mass only once or twice a year, so it could be a while before you can post anything.
