Italian Ponies- Pat Pend vs scraped off Pat Pend- price difference?

Hello pony friends!!

On this snowy day in northeastern USA, I am sorting my ponies and deciding which of my recent upgrades are coming with me to the fair this year.

My question is- I have several Italians (Applejack; Cherries Jubilee, etc) that are identical, but one has the Pat Pend stamp and the other has the mold scraped out.

I can't decide whether to keep both versions since they are "different" from each other, or to sell one of the duplicates off. Are the ponies in general worth more one way than the other?

I honestly don't really think one is worth more then the other....I think its just hard to know which u r getting...or in your case which you want...I have a lot of doubles because of this. ..lol.....

In general I don't think there is much difference in value. It only really comes up when people want absolutely all available variations!

Painted vs. airbrushed eyes does make a difference though.

I don't think there PAT PEND makes as difference in value as the other posters have said

I'm pretty sure only the collectors pose ponies have AB eye version

I'd check the symbols carefully as sometimes they can be reversed (I know there is a reversed symbol Cherries)

I agree - I dont think it makes any difference in price. Most people are happy with one or the other and its only when people are collecting every single little variation you will even get people asking which they are

That's true Cat I tend to not the hoof marks of Itailians when I sell them for that reason.
