A question about Retro Merch

I just purchased a rather fetching mug from Forbidden planet today but apart from Firefly (whose colours are wrong) I couldn't recognize any of the ponies. Are Hasbro reinventing new G1 ponies?

The pic is a bit blurry but I agree with Starshine and Glory.  The colors look ok to me though.  Am I missing something?

No, now that I've looked up Starshine and glory, I can see that you guys are right! I'm not all that familiar with G1 and to be honest I thought Starshine was just an attempt to recreate Celestia as a G1 pony. Without the horn of course....

I see glory, starshine and a firefly that looks like the UK movie version one with the different colours

I have this mug, and while the colours are a bit off for some ponies (particularly Firefly's pink, and some of the other ponies' pink hair), the ponies on it are as follows:

It's a cute mug, though.

More and more G1 ponies are being rediscovered at the moment. I love seeing all the new designs popping up.
