Suggestions on what to do for this girl

Ok so I already posted in a few places about this girl but sadly very little response.. so going to pop the question here.

I've been working on this pony for a while and I was planning on a bridle for her but her muzzle is too short to make it work D:
So now I'm trying to figure out how to go about this...

I can do a bridle with the parts glued to the corners of her mouth without the piece that goes round her muzzle..
Or a headband of some sort (which I'm having problems figuring out)

If I go with a bridle I have no idea what to put at the ends of the mouth pieces =/

Ideas? Suggestions?

Are you looking to make a realistic bridle for her?  I'm not familiar with Pop ponies and their conformation, but it looks like she does have a little smile there.  If you were going to glue or sculpt a bridle onto her, I'd put the rings of the bit (mouthpiece) right at the corners of her little smile.  If you want a realistic model to go off of, google image search for "western headstall" and you'll find several different options.  Some have brow bands (the part that goes over their forehead) and some don't.  Some just have loops for an ear.  There are several options you can use :)

Not going with realistic. She is supposed to be a rocking horse so it was going to be a simple style bridle, sadly my jump rings are too big for this x.x

She's going to be super cute, I adore those eyes! Lovely colours, too. ^-^

What are you planning to use for the bridle? Clay, ribbon...? Because of her peculiar head shape, clay may be easier than ribbon as you won't want to cover her eyes. But I'm sure ribbon can be used too, you just need to pin it down carefully. I would probably go with Western style bridle like Katika suggested, i.e. no noseband around her mouth, just the cheekpieces and possibly a browband - G4s have big foreheads and I think hers is just screaming for something to put on it. XD Maybe forget realism and leave out the part that goes behind the ears (the mane is on the way in any case), instead you can glue/pin down the ribbon between her ear and the corner of her eye where the headband and the cheekpieces meet and then add some decoration on top, like a sculpted plate, a flower, or something like the rosette here.

As for the bit, would something like this work? http://haawan.webs.com/seppo_kollaasi.jpg  The fakie I used already had a moulded bridle on, I pierced his mouth with a needle and pushed a wire through, then bent the wire with tweezers to make loops for the reins. Of course, if you don't want to add reins, you can just skip the bit altogether. :) Instead, you can add similar decorations to the corners of her mouth, maybe slightly smaller/simpler if possible.

Mostly ribbon because sadly my apoxy sculpt is way past it's shelf life plus I would waste more than I need to with her XD I think I'm forming an idea for the 'bit' decoration since I cannot add pierce this kind of plastic (curse you pop ponies for being as hard as model horses!)

Idea: maybe drill a thin hole thru the muzzle where you want the bit, feed wire thru and loop the ends so you can feed ribbon thru the loop. Or maybe do something with beads where the wire is showing to jazz it up and hide the hole a bit. For the pieces around the muzzle, why not just paint it on?

Thinking about it, i like the bead idea. Feed wire thru the hole, then wrap the wire thru a bead on either side, then tie ribbon thru the bead as well for the reins/whatever. Could be cute.

Eta: just read some of the replies (its early, im tired,  and i just skimmed replies) and saw your comment on the plastic hardness issue... Id use a pinning vise. Its an xacto knife sized manual drill. I got mine from a gaming (dnd and nerdery) store, tho places like railroad model shops and some hobby stores have them. Huge lifesaver for tons of projects! You can get a lot of teeny tiny drillbits for them too.
