Thanks. Yeah I figured it was unrepairable...but would sun fading at least get his body to match his head? the same shade of white?
You might try a peroxide bath with him...I've had some success with *fading* cancer spots a little, but it doesn't solve the problem, unfortunately. I think he's still a handsome man, and a bandanna would definitely blur the line between head and body colors if the peroxide bath doesn't work.
I would avoid sunfading him if possible. With the age marks like that he will probably burn quite badly. Congrats on him though - I do think he is an awesome pony.
