I strongly considered a Twilight Sparkle costume, but I ended up not being able to get the pieces for it and instead I decided to fulfill a six-year dream of dressing up as the Riddler (based on my favorite version, from The Batman cartoon, but also borrowing some elements from other versions).

I was Applejack I'm turning 30 and we celebrated my birthday aswell, so our Halloween theme was the 80's or childhood's favourites. I picked Applejack 'cause she's one of the very first MLP's around my birth year, and she also appears on the new G4 MLP, which is actually my costumes inspiration.
My cousin on the other pic was Love a Lot Bear from Carebears, and my boyfriend was Lucky Bear

I went to Jubilations's dinner theatre for Halloween, and here's the best pic of the night. I didn't place in the costume contest, but I was still a big hit, especially with the staff and cast. I think I got a better prize anyway...
The show was a parody of Footloose, so dancing was illegal. However, prancing around like a pony counts as exercise so that was fine, and they thought it was a great stroke of luck that there was actually a pony in the audience. So for that brief little dance number, I got to go on stage during the actual show!
