National Toy Hall of Fame - Vote for MLP!!!

I'm sorry but "paper airplane" should NOT be on the list.  C'mon it's like nominating thumbs for Thumb Wars... sheesh.  Still hope MLP wins.

Too many of those things were a large part of my childhood.  MLP, Fisher Price People, american Girl (though I didn't get one until this year.). Hard decision. 

The poll does say choose your favorite, btw - not that your choice will have any say in what actually wins. . .

Personally, I'm glad they include things like blankets and sticks.  Makes me think of Calvin and Hobbes and his cardboard box.  I think we should encourage creativity - though I can't imagine what the display would look like.

Don't get me wrong, I was a very creative child who enjoyed playing with simpler items and using my imagination. I just feel that if they are going to include items that aren't technically marketed as a toy of some sort, then really anything could be considered a toy based on how imaginative you are.

Voted! 10% behind the cube of infuriating frustration though. Gap can be easily closed if we can get more ppl to vote. What happens if MLP wins, and is it a museum just for toys?

Last year I'm pretty sure it was close between MLP and TMNT, and rubber ducky got inducted, even though it trailed ten years behind in the polls... but if MLP wins every. darned. year... how can they ignore their most adorable of adorable little faces??
