Those look really cool!  N64 Controllers really lend themselves to custom art work.  Such a large canvas compared to next gen controllers.  .  I like the Minty one too. Though I have a soft spot for Firefly.

What a fun idea! I hope the paint will resist wear. Did you seal them with anything?

The Minty one is my favourite too, the colours are so delicious!

I didn't! I'm not sure how to seal paint. Any advice?

Well, there are several types and brands of sealant to choose from, it's entirely up to you what kind of sealant you prefer. For something like this I believe a brush-on sealant is your best bet, rather than a spray type. Mod Podge is one of the most common brands but your local stores may carry other alternatives too, just look for a sealant/varnish/glaze that is meant for acrylic paints.

Sealing is optional, of course, but it often helps prevent the paint from rubbing off. Good luck!

That's so cool!  I've been thinking of customizing Xbox 360 controllers for my fiance and myself... never thought about grabbing a controller for an older system and doing it, though!

It would never have occurred to me to paint the controllers!  What a good idea.    I typically seal my paint with mod podge.
