Another nice thing about the rewards program is last year, for like a month during the holidays, you'd earn 10% back on all purchases during that period of time to use for Christmas presents.  Basically they tabulated your purchases, and then sent an email gift card.  Mine was a good $40 or so, which was pretty awesome to have during the holidays.

Actually that is running right now (and has been all summer), if you have the TRU CC and pay with it, you get 10% off on Thursdays.

Actually the best features are the ability to return items without a receipt and having the receipts sent to your email both of which make returns much easier.

Actually, even if you are not a Rewards member you can do a return without a receipt. All the cashier needs is your ID and it can be taken care of no problem.
There is a dollar amount limit when using your ID though, and you get the lowest selling price.  With your rewards card they can find the receipt and get you what you paid for it.

That wasn't the case with my store. We could return any dollar amount with you ID, though you did get the lowest selling price. Most people didn't mind that when they were returning as they were gifts they didn't want and they just wanted the thing gone.

We've spent at least $1000 on Legos and TRansformers in the past 5 months and haven't gotten any coupons... I'll make sure hubby checks his spam folder. Thanks for reminding me!

I'm a member of the program and I get a coupons sent out to me by mail twice a month not including email offers. Personally, I think it's worth it if you think about bogo sales, holiday/seasonal sales.. slap coupons to combine and then $5 towards your purchase. Heck, I feel as though between TRU and Babies-R-Us they're always pitching deals than my local grocery shop and big chained stores. Wished that the $5 shouldn't have to be spent before a certain date though.

OH-

Also, if any of you (which I'm sure) are registered as a member, you can sign onto the TRU or BRU site with your membership card number and look up how many points you've earn toward your next rewards.

I got a free card and it has really helped me return a couple items that were both overpriced and that I had lost the receipt for! lol!
Even if I never get coupons that alone has been worth it for me.
