First Class International Shipping...how long does it take?

I'm selling off my collection after a many year collecting hiatus.  I have a potential buyer in Europe who was wondering how long it takes for first class international mail to arrive (I am in the US).  It's been years since I've sent a package overseas, but I know many of you do so often, so I thought I'd ask all of you.  Thanks

I am in the UK and have received a lot of pony mail from the US! I find that it can take from anywhere from 1-3 weeks it is a bit hit and miss pending on customs! Generally it takes about 10 days

It varies depending on country, where you are in the US,  time in foreign customs , time of year, and the way you send the parcel    . If you're going for first class then from a UK standpoint I've had things arrive are fast as 3 days to a week (from the east coast)  or take as long as 6-8 weeks. I've had stuff held up in customs a week before i got sent notice of the import tax needed to be paid before they would deliver the parcel too.
The tax is something else your potential buyer needs to consider as this can get very high - especially if your collection is valuable.
What country is your buyer in? it would help to know as we have a lot of other Euro members as well as us UKers who might be able to give you an approx.  time for their country as well

I've shipped first class international many times and never had anything take longer than 2 weeks to Europe. But customs in Italy and Norway I think are a little iffy. I don't ship to Italy at all because of their strange customs rules and I think it's Norway that has very strict and high priced customs where I have had my customers' ponies held with very little notice. I think it's silly that they do this for used items. I see doing it for new items.

She is in Poland.  I'm only sending a few ponies, so it's not a huge box with high value.  Thanks everyone for your responses so far

I ship First Class International all the time and only have had issues sending to Italy.  I see you are shipping to Poland so your safe    Anyways as others have already mentioned the time varies from anywhere to 1-3 weeks roughly.

I have had packages take a week and others take 2-3 months.
