How to all of you display your amazing collection?

I LOVE my pony collection!  I am also very excited about the ponies that I have in it and my customs.  However, I am a grown up, a veterinary professional and the mother of two children (I have to protect my ponies from them and teach them they many not play with Mommy's ponies.  Those ponies are to look at only.) I also like to think my home is decorated some what tastefully so a shelf of plastic toys with crazy colored hair looks a bit out of place. Tough displaying everyone on selves worked just fine years ago.  I was thinking of maybe getting a hutch with glass doors so the ponies would also be protected from getting dust in their lovely hair.  Now where to put it?

I have all of mine in glass curio cabinets right now. I will have a room just for them to later this winter. I also will not have them all over my house. I do love my ponies but feel that its not fair to others to have to deal with them all over the place. I am also a clean and neat freak so I would not be cool with it.  I have one curio with G3 and one with G1 and one with G4 ponies. The one with G4 ponies also has what I have left of my Breyer Collection to. I would get you a picture but they are kind of all packed into the curio right now. As for my NIB ponies I did have them on a bookcase. But I have that taken down right now to. So like I said before they are packed into the Curios. Kind of sad for me to see them right now.

I'm lucky enough to have a pony room and I don't need to worry about sticky little fingers either, but if I were in your postion I'd probably get one of those wall hanging glass display cabinets from Ikea and hang it on a less obvious wall.
My mum has two of them in her living room for her salt & pepper collection and it looks really nice and not at all "in your face"

A pony room for me as well, fortunately. However, I do also think if its something you enjoy, there is no harm on a few out on display on higher shelves.

In my bedroom I have three Billy Bookcases from Ikea with glass shelves and glass doors. I use them to display my pony collection and a few of my other collections as well.

Most are in the pony room, but my specials and customs are in the china cabinet in the dining room.

I keep most of my collection on a bookcase, as one of the shelves is only half-full, so there's extra space for the ponies to be displayed nicely. However, I do keep one pony next to my boombox on a different, smaller bookcase, as there was a weird empty space on the shelf and she occupies it rather nicely.

The ones I keep MIB i have pegged on my wall, but most atm are on shelves or in my desk! I need to make a legit pony room with a zillion shelves! xD Someday guys!!

I want to buy like 20 of those EXACT bookshelves!! I'm also lucky enough to have a  pony room, and that helps to keep them safe from the cats and out of the sun (I'm rather paranoid about fading). I also prefer that they're not all over the house, although I do have a few pony things around. For example, my Funko Doctor Whooves hangs out in the kitchen with my collection of Doctor Who travel mugs.

I am currently in the progress of making my pony room! I have 3 of the large Billy style (Argos's version ) bookshelves being delivered on Tuesday. Next month I'll get a couple of the smaller shelves to fit under the window sill.  My smaller plushies will be stored in a hanging net and the larger ones in a large pink squadgy bin thing.  Castles, stables and other playsets will go on the box thing we built over the stair case slope (the room is over the stair case).

So hopefully I'll have the beginnings of my pony room by next weekend

You guys are all so lucky.  I have a few out and about but most are stored in boxes.  I plan on displaying them when I move but for now they get to stay cramped in boxes.

Mine are on a hodgepodge of bookcases and shelf organizers in our basement, floor to ceiling, mixture of colors.
