Being Paid in Ponies

my boss asked me recently if there's a point where it's too much? do I have a limit? yes, I do. mortgage needs to be paid. I can't buy ponies instead of paying my mortgage...

I get paid in ponies as well, but it's generally in exchange for art.  It's nice because I don't feel like I'm being frivolous with my money since I don't really tend too have much of it at the moment, and people who like my art can get it.

my boss is smarter than I give him credit for. I asked him (jokingly) for a raise. told him he could pay me in ponies. He said that that would be more expensive than giving me actual money!

I frequently get paid in ponies for art commissions, so I'm living the dream.

I also am getting paid for some art commissions in ponies, helps that my roommate is an author and commissions me for book art fairly often. We just agree on a price and wait til I find an eBay auction I like.

I just have to say that I love you for quoting that commercial. I quote it all the time. One of these days my boss is going to start paying me in gum just because I say it too often.

But on the original note, I got paid in Beanie Babies once, for a pet-sitting job. That was pretty cool at the time (nowadays you'd have to give me a LOT of beanie babies to make it worth it). I also got paid in ponies once for helping a friend PC her small childhood pony collection. Oh, and my roommate once paid me back for part of the bills with her own childhood ponies.

I wish I could get paid in ponies I dont have! I haven't been before but it's always fun to see when people are or can be.
at this point, you couldn't pay me with beanie babies in any amount! lol!

I wish I could exchange my art for ponies--no one seems to willing to do that one yet.

But my aunt did buy me a fully clothed Salty to house sit and watch pets for a weekend at the end of the month.  Too be Salty won't be able to accompany me there.

I've been paid in ponies.  When I house/dogsat a few years ago for a friend she paid me with Mimic.
