Roomies Dating...
« on: August 04, 2014, 02:20:30 PM »
What do you think about Room mates dating? Would you do it or not? I personally never have just because it could end badly. Would love to hear your opinions.  :)

Well why I ask is because I have currently 2 roomies dating. One a 22 year old girl that is clingy and thinks way to much about things. And, a 31 year old male that its great till the next thing comes. I am thinking my bf and I are going to be put into a position when he realizes she acts way to young for him.

...... The guy I liked for five years always got new room mates, always females and he ALWAYS ended up dating them. Then when they broke up, he'd always end up with a new room mate,

To be honest, not my style. If I love someone and we move in together, great, if not, I wouldn't like the thought of it to be honest. How awkward would you feel if you broke up with them unless of course, you did remain close friends.

I feel the same way! I am actually dealing with that with our 2 other roomies they are currently seeing each other.

I've never really had any roommates other than when I'm in the hospital or my little brother when we were really little and those don't really count. So I've never really thought about it. But it doesn't seem like a good idea somehow.

I have never had a roommate ever in my life. I think that would be weird!

Doesn't sound like a good idea to me.  If the couple ever broke up, things would be awkward.
