Recently, I got this Princess Twilight.
She's a combination combing hair and sculpted hair......and I really like her. As far as I know, there were only 2 like this. (A Celestia also) They're bigger than a blindbag, and she's taller than a regular pony too. I think the tail could have been thicker & more quality looking/feeling to match with the big pretty sculpted mane. The tail isn't cut, that's just how it is. She came ONLY with a EQG doll.

What are these called?
Do you think they will do more?
Do you like them?
Do you have them?

I would imagine these 2 unless re-released later would become rarer in the future because they only came with the doll, and if you didn't like the dolls.....oh well.

I would actually like to see a whole set done like this, where they had unique bodies, poses & sculpted hair but with a combing tail. AJ in pigtails, Luna's big mane, maybe throw in BigMac & Cadence and stuff. You get the fun of combing (if they do big good tails) but the style of the show so it always really looks like the character. (Or, is it unfitting to have combing with molded?)

I have both of those.  It's the main reason I bought the Twilight and Celestia doll and pony sets.  I kind of like the way they look, except for the decal on the front leg.

I just call them semi-brushable.  I wouldn't mind seeing more of them, especially Cadance, but they'd really have to up the quality control, especially since they're only sold in $20 packs with a doll.

I consider her as more of an accessory/merchandise piece- due to the molded hair.   She's like an ultra deluxe McDonald's pony :)

I like them too!

I'd like a wave of blind bags with tails like this.

Ugh, these make me so mad. I hate combining brushable tail with molded mane. It's so McDonalds.

These do remind me of McPonies. It's a cute concept but I prefer all hair or all plastic. The pose is really cute!

I kind of like them and I kind of dont. :P

Normally I would classify any pony which does not have all brushable hair as merch and I do think these kind of fall under that for me as well. Although I would understand why people would consider them just part of the regular line, especially considering how they were released.

As for more of them? No I dont think so now. It looks like the doll + pony sets are all coming with proper ponies from now on. So I dont see where these would fit in the line. But you never know what other random release Hasbro could come up with.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I love Loa more than PonyLady!
