Hair styling tricks!

Hi,

I have been trying to style my ponies hair. I have seen people's ponies online with beautiful hair. I was wondering if there are any tricks to doing it. For example I like adding curls. I have used the straw method but I find it doesn't work very well. I bought 3 curling irons for $16 yesterday. I tried on multiple pony and it didn't curl the hair even a bit. Please let me know if there are tricks for making the ponies' hair nice like the ones from Ponyology.

I find it to be easiest to just dib the pony in hot (even boiling) water and then style. What kind of method did you try with the straws?

Be careful with curling irons - its really easy to burn nylon hair. Setting curls with boiling water is a much safer option!
