Don't you think it can be cause by the use of different plastics, which 'reduce' differently when 'drying' out of the mold ? Maybe its not the same from one factory to another, or from one year to another, can't this make sense ?
The reason for white Windy you mean? White windy is a pigment loss issue...the purple equivalent of Italian Firefly who goes all the way white. So yes it is probably due to her being produced at different times, potentially in different factories and in different batches. Mass market toys made as inexpensively as possible are seldom shining examples of quality control.
