shipping question... now a seller fee? can they add that after the auction?

so i bought 3 small clothing auctions on ebay. the biggest one had a top and pants. each had shipping set at 1.60, all from the same seller.
i won the three, thinking she'd combine the shipping, but the shipping is 4.80.
should i say something?
i mean i can see she might upgrade my shipping, but part of the reason i got more than one item was to save on shipping cost.

Did you "Request Total" when you were done bidding?

You could always ask....but if the auctions didn't say "will combine shipping" then they probably won't.

yeah i did.
GG-k i think i will ask. i don't mind if it is shipping with tracking, but would at least appreciate a shipping upgrade if i'm paying more.

if the seller ships each one individually then there's no issue.  If the seller sends them in one package and the shipping is going to cost aprox $2 then there is an issue.

it was 4.80 for all of them. which she corrected and now its 2.60, which makes sense.
but now there is a sellers fee of 4.66 that just got tacked on.
wasn't there before. would have been better with the 4.80 shipping. instead of shipping with a fee on top.

me either. that's why i'm suspicious. there was no fee when the shipping cost was 4.80, but now that the shipping went down it suddenly got an unexplained fee?

got an email saying it was suppose to be the total, guess i can see that.
feel bad for her if that's the case. she said she'd fix it. we'll see what happens.

It sounds like the seller didn't realize there was a fee ont he amount of shipping she charges and is trying to pass it off to you.

finally got it corrected. thank goodness.
so 3 auctions of doll clothes coming my way for a total of 4.50.
(though each only has two pieces. i'm still happy. a mh dress got mislabeled as barbie and i won the auction for .01)

I'm happy to hear it was just a mistake and that everything is sorted out now  
 to start with it seemed like you had run into a difficult seller! they arent allowed to add fees on after the auction ends btw  just incase you have this happen in the future
